Dr. Carmen Chui Lap Man

Dr. Carmen Chui graduated with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College in Ontario, Canada in 2012. Dr. Carmen practiced in Canada before coming to Hong Kong in 2014 to join the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Hong Kong. Dr. Carmen joined Pets Central in 2016. Dr. Carmen has exceptional client communication and surgical skills in GI foreign body removal, eye enucleation and cystotomies, oral surgery, wound repair and management of challenging internal medical cases. She has completed a year-long distance education course in small animal internal medicine through the Center for Veterinary Education at The University of Sydney and intends to sit the examinations to qualify for Membership of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists. Dr. Carmen is the recipient of the 2011 Morris Animal Foundation Veterinary Student Scholar Award, 2011 Intervet/Schering Plough Animal Health Canada Leadership Prize and 2014 Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Emerging Leadership Award. Dr. Carmen’s personal interests include calligraphy, travel, trying new restaurants and volunteering at church.
